Sycamore Weekly Newsletter - 21.14.25
Good afternoon, I have been so impressed this week with some of the discussions and the work the children have produced. They have really got to grips with their new English writing unit on biographies. So far we have analysed one and had a go as a class writing one, before the children write one independently next week. In maths we are continuing to look at multiplication and division and have moved on to possibly the trickiest tables yet... the 7s. We will continue to look

Sycamore - 17.10.25
Good afternoon, This week the children have worked very hard on creating short stories, making sure they make sense and have an interesting problem whilst also including expanded noun phrases, a range of conjunctions and correctly punctuated speech. There have been some very good and interesting stories for me to read and mark. In maths we have finished our unit on addition and subtraction, and the children should have brought home their tests. Remember there are tasks set on
