Hazel Newsletter - Summer
What an amazing year we have had. We can’t really believe that it’s finished already. It’s been a very busy year. The children have been absolutely fantastic and worked ridiculously hard. We are so proud of the progress that they have made. We also hope they have enjoyed some of the things that we have done, such as making Pizza Bruschetta, icing biscuits, creating clay people, pushing themselves with their Writing, Swimming and Forest School afternoons. We sadly said Goodbye

Happy Friday all! It’s been really warm today this week, but we have worked really hard regardless! In English, we are almost at the end of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We have enjoyed delving a little deeper into the story and linking it to our writing. This week we are focussing on writing a book report to detail our favourite parts of the story. In Maths, we have been consolidating our learning from the year. We are revisiting Addition and Subtraction and practicing

Happy Weekend from Hazel Class! It’s been very warm this week but we have beaten the heat! In Maths, we have continued with statistics and looked at how to represent data on a tally chart, bar chart and two way table. We have then used this data to answer questions. In English, we have been concentrating on writing Diary entries. We have written in First person, included conjunctions, and made sure to describe using our amazing adjectives.
