Sports Premium

The government provides funding to maintained primary schools and academies that is specifically targeted at improving the provision of physical education and sport. The amount of PE and sports premium received and a full breakdown of how the sports premium is being spent can be found the plan below:

At Crowmoor, we use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of the PE and School Sport offer. Evidence of the impact seen by the school on pupil's participation and attainment in PE and sport can be found within the plan.

Swimming

All children in KS2 take part in swimming sessions throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to build confidence in the water and develop this important life skill. The sessions are always a highlight for the children, as they not only enjoy the physical activity but also the fun and teamwork that come with learning together. We are very fortunate to be able to use Shrewsbury School’s wonderful swimming facilities, which provide a safe, high-quality environment where every child can thrive and make excellent progress.
