Sycamore Newsletter - 19.12.25

Good afternoon,


We have had a very productive last week of term; the children have revisited their addition and subtraction understanding using column method.


In English the children had a go at creating their own winter poem, looking at rhyme, the use of adjectives and how to structure it with verses. The children did a fantastic job and have created some lovely poems.


For our design and technology this term we have explored sewing, looking at different stitches and then tried to create a tunic based on the Roman era but with our own twist. Here are some of the finished pieces.

Over the festive break, please keep encouraging the children to read, it will make a huge difference when they come back in January. If the children have access to the internet, they also have logins for Mathletics and Spelling Shed.
