Willow Class Newsletter 17.4.23
It has been wonderful to welcome the children back after the Easter break. They have returned ready and refreshed for a busy but exciting term ahead. This week in maths, we have been focusing on our arithmetic skills, and the children have shown a great ability to work quickly and carefully when answering questions. In reading, we have been developing our inference skills, explaining how and why we know something by using evidence from the text to support our answers. In P.E,

Spring 1 has been brilliant, and it has been wonderful to see so much progress from the Year 6 children. In Writing, we have been creating diary entries inspired by the clip La Luna . The children demonstrated a strong understanding of the task and used a range of prepositional openers to clearly paint vivid pictures in the reader’s mind. In Maths, we have completed our Geometry unit, where the children showed great understanding when finding angles in a range of shapes. In G
