We have had a great week in Willow Class. In Reading, we have begun our new class text Pig Heart Boy by Malorie Blackman. The children are already intrigued by the story, and we are looking forward to exploring the powerful themes within the book, including ethics, friendship and difficult choices. Year 6 Spring term Design and technology
Dear Parents/Guardians, We are excited to share that for the Spring term, our Design and Technology unit will focus on Global Food. During this unit, the children will have the opportunity to prepare, cook, and taste (if they wish) a variety of foods. Some of the ingredients they will work with include: carrots, apples, mango, lemongrass, root ginger, Pak Choi, lime, and figs, as well as making dishes such as spring rolls and pretzels. IMPORTANT NOTICE- School Update Weather
After taking guidance from local authority, we will be closely monitoring and reviewing conditions throughout the day. As it stands, school is open as normal today and tomorrow. However, all after-school clubs and meetings will be cancelled as a precaution. This is to ensure students, parents and staff are able to travel home safely before the weather is forecast to worsen. If for any reason this is a problem e.g. due to last minute childcare, then please let us know and we
