Governors

The Advisory Interim  Board, Crowmoor Primary School

For schools who are new to the Trust, Trustees of SHINE Academies delegate authority for local governance to an Advisory Interim Board (AIB). This board operates for a period of approximately twelve months on conversion to provide more extensive support whilst schools settle into the Trust.

 

​Once governance of the school is deemed to be stable and sufficiently settled into the SHINE family, the school will revert to Local Governing Body (LGB) arrangements. This will largely operate in the same way as the AIB, with the removal of direct involvement of the SHINE Central Team and Trustees.
