Sycamore Newsletter - 16.1.25

Good afternoon,

We have had a fun and productive week in Year 4. In English, we have come to the end of our unit on character description. Some children have written brilliantly, showing great imagination and improving their descriptive skills.

In Maths, we are working with bigger numbers in multiplication and really testing our times tables understanding. In history we have continued to explore the Romans, investigating what certain emperors were known for and if they left a legacy.

Lots of children have also made good progress in their monthly reading test. Let’s keep this momentum going by continuing to read regularly at home.

Hope you all have a great weekend,

Mr Reynolds
