Well half term is here, I just hope it stops raining for some of it! This week we have read 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. The children have enjoyed reciting the book off by heart and have written a new version of the poem. We're going on a fox hunt, We're going to catch a big one, What a beautiful day! We're not scared. This week we have enjoyed sharing 'How the Elephant got his Trunk' by Andrea Florens. We have written the story in our own words and started to use conjunctions such as 'and, 'but' and 'because' in our sentences. In maths we have completed our unit on Addition and Subtraction within 20. However, we will continue to work on our number facts throughout the year. Your child has brought home their End of Block assessment. We complete this in the classroom and try to encourage the
