Happy Friday! This week we have been looking at the story 'One Snowy Night'. The children have enjoyed drawing their favourite character, acting the story out in our small world, home corner and construction area and making animals using play dough. We used the story to help our learning in maths. We talked about if one more animal came in or one animal fell out of the bed. IMPORTANT NOTICE- School Update Weather
After taking guidance from local authority, we will be closely monitoring and reviewing conditions throughout the day. As it stands, school is open as normal today and tomorrow. However, all after-school clubs and meetings will be cancelled as a precaution. This is to ensure students, parents and staff are able to travel home safely before the weather is forecast to worsen. What a fantastic week it has been to end the children's first term at Crowmoor School! We have had our Christmas dinner day, Christmas disco and been busy making and decorating gingerbread men. Our certificate winner this week is Ivy. She has been joining in more during our carpet time, especially in phonics, where she has been working hard to blend to read words and segment to spell words with her class. Well done!
