English This week in English, we have continued reading The Twits and have really enjoyed getting to know the mischievous characters. We’ve been exploring their personalities and settings, and the children have been busy writing detailed character and setting descriptions of Mr Twit and his house and garden. Year 2- The Twits
As part of our current reading and writing work on The Twits by Roald Dahl, we will be watching short snippets from the film adaptation The Twits , which has recently been added to Netflix. These carefully selected clips will be used to support pupils’ understanding of characters, settings, and themes, and to inspire discussion and writing linked directly to the book we are studying in class. IMPORTANT NOTICE- School Update Weather
After taking guidance from local authority, we will be closely monitoring and reviewing conditions throughout the day. As it stands, school is open as normal today and tomorrow. However, all after-school clubs and meetings will be cancelled as a precaution. This is to ensure students, parents and staff are able to travel home safely before the weather is forecast to worsen.
