This week in Year 5 has been full of exciting learning across the curriculum! On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day , and it was wonderful to see the children arrive in fantastic costumes inspired by their favourite characters. Throughout the day, we shared stories, discussed our favourite books, and took part in reading activities that celebrated the joy of literature. Year 5/6 Parent Notice
We are still having reports that some children in Y5 and Y6 are inappropriately using social media apps, with access to inappropriate language. Some of the language and references children are sending to one another are of a sexual content. We have growing safeguarding concerns with the lack of supervision that some children are having whilst on devices. Also, that some children (due to their advanced ability to use technology) are hiding certain messages, apps or photos from
