We have had a lovely week, which has ended on a sunny note as we head into the holiday. This week, we began rehearsals for our Year 6 production, which the children are very excited about. We have discussed roles, and each child has been given a script to begin learning their lines. We appreciate your support with helping the children practise these at home. In Geography, the children were intrigued to learn about Chernobyl and used maps to research the impact of this event.

One highlight was our exciting ‘escape room’ challenge, where pupils worked brilliantly in groups to solve a series of clues in order to “escape.” It was fantastic to see such teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving skills on display—well done, Willow Class! In Science, we have been exploring how animals adapt to

The children demonstrated a strong understanding of the task and used a range of prepositional openers to clearly paint vivid pictures in the reader’s mind. In Maths, we have completed our Geometry unit, where the children showed great understanding when finding angles in a range of shapes. In G

This week has been a fantastic one in Year 6, and the sunshine has certainly helped to keep spirits high! Year 5/6 Parent Notice
We are still having reports that some children in Y5 and Y6 are inappropriately using social media apps, with access to inappropriate language.
