Here is an update on what Oak Class have been up to this week! Maths – Perimeter This week in Maths we have been learning about perimeter. Perimeter is the distance all the way around the outside of a shape. We practised adding the lengths of each side to find the total perimeter. This week in Year 5 has been full of exciting learning across the curriculum! Year 3 and Year 5 were very lucky this morning to have a visit from some military vehicles, which supports our WWII topics. The AEC Matador Gun Tractor was used by the British and Commonwealth Forces in World War 2. It was famous for towing large guns, carrying crews and serving in lots of other different roles.
