A reminder this Thursday it is the Halloween disco! Children are welcome to come into school in non uniform or a Halloween costume if they wish! Please ensure all costumes are appropriate for school. The disco will happen during school hours.

We had an amazing time in Hazel Class this week! In English, we wrote a Diary Entry linking to our class book D-Day dog. Good afternoon, Over the past couple of weeks in English we have been exploring newspaper reports, which has resulted in this week writing an article linked to an interesting event that has happened in our class text. The children have tried really hard to write in a formal and factual way and have tried to use speech to add some personalised points of view. In maths we are in our multiplication and division unit and have been looking at factors, multiples and prime numbers.

Almost at the end of our first half term in Year 1! All the children have adjusted to Year 1 so well. They are used to the routines and higher expectations of the Year 1 curriculum, well done!
