It certainly has been a very hot week, but we would like to say a huge well done to all of the children for staying safe, sensible, and hydrated throughout the warm weather.

This week, we have enjoyed our Design and Technology lessons, where we began creating our marble runs. The children learned about the importance of building strong bridges and explored a range of key joining techniques to help make their structures sturdy and effective. We have been impressed by their creativity and teamwork.

We were also delighted to welcome the Open the Book team into school. As well as delivering their regular assemblies, they spent time with our Year 6 pupils, discussing transition to secondary school and sharing lots of helpful advice and practical tips.

Looking ahead, we are excited for our production performance for parents on Thursday. We look forward to seeing you all there and sharing the children's hard work and talents.

Well done to this weeks certificate winner Lilly.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Bliss and Mr Jones
