Good afternoon,
This week in Sycamore we have been looking at persuasive letters, really working on emotive language and how we can phrase things in certain ways to really tug at people's emotions. It turns out we have some very good persuasive children in our class, so I am looking forward to the letters they'll be writing next week.
In maths we have come to the end of our unit on shape by looking at reflection in mirror lines. The children have focused well and have come up with methods to solve some very tricky questions. Next week we are moving on to looking at statistics.
In computing the children have been developing their codes to produce games in which they can play against each other. Some games have multiple characters and mazes which are proving a lot of fun to play.
Thank you for all of your support with the World Cup projects, there have been a whole range of amazing entries. I am very impressed with what our class managed to produce.
As always please keep up the daily reading.
I hope you have a great weekend,
Mr Reynolds
