Good afternoon,
Thank you for all of your support this week making sure the children have come to school ready for the heat. The children have done very well and I have been very impressed with some of their work.
In English we finished our persuasive writing unit, where the children have typed up letters to try and persuade a parent or a member of staff for something. Some of them are brilliant and have used emotive language very well. In maths we have come to the end of statistics unit, the children have become very good at drawing and reading line graphs and pictograms.
We had a very fun start to the day today with Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service in, teaching our class all about how to stay safe around water. The children were very good and got involved, they spotted a lot of potential dangerous situations and even got the chance to practice throwing a line to save someone.

As always please keep up the reading at home.
Hope you have a fun weekend,
Mr Reynolds
