Year 6 have had another great week of learning!
This week, we have thoroughly enjoyed reading our class text, Who Let the Gods Out?. We have been following the adventures of Virgo and Elliott and discussing how their friendship develops throughout the story. The children have shown excellent understanding and have contributed thoughtfully to our class discussions.
We have also been very busy preparing for our upcoming production. I am incredibly impressed with how well the children are learning their lines and rehearsing their parts. Thank you for your continued support at home – please keep encouraging your child to practise their lines, as it is making a real difference.
One of the highlights of the week was our visit to Crucial Crew. This was a fantastic experience, giving the children the opportunity to engage in a range of informative and interactive activities. They worked alongside representatives from the fire service and police, learning valuable safety skills and how to respond in different situations. The children represented the school brilliantly and were a credit to Year 6 throughout the trip.

Looking ahead, we are all very excited about our upcoming visit to Arthog on the 19th. The children are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to take part in a range of outdoor activities and challenges, and we cannot wait for what promises to be a memorable experience.
Well done to this week’s certificate winner Ella.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss and Mr Jones
