Oak Weekly News 5.9.25

We are delighted to welcome everyone back to school and are so pleased with the fantastic start the children have made to Year 5. It has been wonderful to see such positive attitudes to learning, and we are very excited for the year ahead.

This term, we have lots of exciting topics to explore together. We are particularly looking forward to our upcoming visit to RAF Cosford, as well as the STEM activities we will be taking part in throughout the year.

A few reminders:

• Please ensure all forms, including photo consent forms, are returned to school as soon as possible.

• Children should read each night at home to continue building fluency and understanding.

• Spellings will be tested every Friday. New spelling lists will also be sent home on Fridays.

• We will also be completing our Cracking Times Tables on Fridays.

• PE days are Tuesday and Friday – please ensure children wear the correct PE kit on these days.

We are looking forward to an exciting and productive term in Year 5. Thank you for your continued support.
