Oak News 4.7.25

Our time is Year 5 is slowly coming to an end but we are making the most of the time we have left!

This week, we have started an exciting writing unit, where we are creating advertisement leaflets. We have started this week by creating some exciting leaflets about why people should come 'Visit Crowmoor Primary School'. The children have turned on the charm and we have things like "Dinners better than Gordon Ramsay" and "The Crowmoor Bank helps with valuable life skills". Very impressive!

In Maths, we have started to convert units, including: mass, length, volume and time. We even had a look at converting between metric and imperial units or "old and new" units- which Miss Nicholas wasn't happy about! Haha!

We have been having a great time learning how to play our new sport 'Handball'. As you can see on Anya's face, it takes complete concentration!

Our Crowmoor Reward certificate winner this week in Isabelle. Well Done!

Have a great weekend - hopefully a warm one!

Wow – what a year we have had! We are incredibly proud of all of the children and everything they have achieved this year. They have worked so hard, grown in confidence, and shown resilience, kindness
