Happy Friday! We have worked so hard this week.

In English, we continued with Friend or Foe in our Reading sessions. We completed character descriptions in our Writing sessions. We extended our sentences using noun phrases, adverbs and conjunctions.
In Maths, we completed our Multiplication and Division topic and used Supermovers to support our understanding of times tables. We have been focusing on our 2, 4 and 8 times tables.
This week has been Parliament Week, so in PSHE we delved into what Parliament is and what job it has in the UK. We thought about what we would do if we were Prime Minister for the day and came up with some interesting new laws.
In French we looked at different colours and really focused on our pronounciation of the words. We recognised that some of the colours sounded similar in both English and French.
This afternoon, we were very lucky to watch a pantomime in the Hall! The children absolutely adored Rick Whittington and had a fantastic time.
Thank you for all of the donations that were brought in for the tombola. It is very much appreciated.
Well done to our certificate winners this week!
Have an amazing weekend
Mrs Brunyard, Miss Cluderay and Mrs Savory
