Hazel Weekly Newsletter 10.10.25

It’s been really busy in the Hazel Classroom this week!

In Maths, we have been using the column method to support our Addition and Subtraction unit. We are becoming a lot more confident adding and subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers.

In English, we have been continuing our reading of D-Day Dog and using our knowledge of the plot to support our writing. We have been looking at how to write a diary, and know that we have to write in chronological order.

In French, we have been using our previous learning to have short conversations with each other and asking questions. We have learnt how to ask how someone is, what someone’s name is and how old they are.

In DT, we made our own switches using split pins that we will be able to upswing in our circuits next week.

We had an amazing time this Friday looking at kindness and mental health in class, as well as taking part in the Rock Steady assembly!

Have an amazing weekend,

Mrs Brunyard, Miss Cluderay and Mrs Savory
