The children are enjoying our class text ‘Holes’. They have been predicting what will happen next and have been using inference skills to discuss the meaning of phrases. I have been impressed with the discussion this week. In English, we have written a persuasive letter about ‘why children should not be allowed to go to Camp Green Lake’, the children had wonderful ideas as to why Camp Green Lake needed changing.

In maths we are working on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The children have worked hard, finding common multiplies can fractions. All children have been sent home with a mathletics login, please encourage them to use this, as it really does support with their understanding in Maths.

In Art, we created a tile and printed our art work!
