Good afternoon,
This week in Hazel we have been doing a bit of everything. The children have worked very hard in their normal lessons and in their tests.
In art we continued to explore water colours, looking at the range of colours and shades you can get whilst recreating different scenes. For science we carried out an investigation in to shadows, looking at the distance from a light source and size of the shadow it creates. We then challenged ourselves by exploring the angle of the light when it hits an object and the shadow it creates.
One child who has done particularly well this week and is our certificate winner is Thea - congratulations.
Next week we are going to the church for our Carol Service on Wednesday, please come along and join us - we start promptly at 1:30pm. On Thursday is our Christmas jumper day.
