Good afternoon,
We have had an interesting week in Hazel Class. On Monday we went into year 4 for our move up morning, where we reflected on year 3 and looked ahead as to what is to come next year.
We have also done a few tests this week. In science we looked at pollination and fertilisation and in history we explored the Victorian era and wrote a diary entry about what life would have been like as a prisoner.

In English we have just started our new unit looking at information reports. We tried to identify conjunctions, prepositions and adverbs, as well as looking at how they differ from diary entries.
With only two weeks left of school before the summer break, it is really important that regular reading happens as those children that are reading regularly are making some great improvements.
Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the Summer Fair,
Mr Reynolds
