Good afternoon,

We have had a very productive week finishing our maths unit on shape and have now started our statistics unit. In English the children have produced some good information reports about the school, showing off their vocabulary range and hand writing.

As we are nearing the end of the year, we have come to the end of a few units in different subjects. In art, our final project is fashion, we have looked at different designs and the children have been tasked with making items of clothes out of paper. This week we had a trial run with some very good results.

As a class we have spoken a lot about the importance of reading, we all agreed that we could do a bit more reading at home. Please keep encouraging them to read a little bit each night and we will keep seeing the improvements.
