Welcome back and welcome to Elm Class!

I am super excited for our year ahead in Year 2!

This week, we have focused on settling into Year 2 and gaining an insight into the learning we have coming up.

In English, we have written about giants using adjectives. We even managed to include our word of the day 'colossal' into our writing.

In Maths, we have started to look at number to 100. We have practiced counting them by grouping into tens and ones. I have been super impressed with how hard they have worked already!

In Music, we have started to find the pulse and beat to our new song for this term: 'Hands, feet, heart'. Here's us being flamingos :)

PE days are Wednesday and Friday for Elm Class. Please ensure your child is in the correct PE uniform on these days.
