We have had a fantastic time this week reading our new book 'Where the poppies now grow'. This book links to our studies of World War I and had a hidden message within the pictures.

In Maths this week, we have focused on comparing numbers. The children have worked hard to use the appropriate vocabulary of 'greater than', 'less than' and 'equal to' using our knowledge of place value.

Tasks on Mathletics are available for the children to access at home.

In PE, we have practiced some new skills. We have learnt how to prepare our body to forward roll and to throw a ball underarm. Here's an action shot:

Our Crowmoor Reward Certificate winner this week is Jack! Well done!

Our Reading Rex winner this week is Mikey! Well done!

Please continue to read with your child at home- we have some very eager readers!

Have a great weekend
