It has been so nice to have some sun this week!
We have enjoyed sharing our new book 'Dinosaurs Love Underpants' by Clare Freedman. The children used adjectives to describe all the different underpants then we retold the story using our own words. The children are trying their best to keep their handwriting neat and to form their letters correctly; we will continue to work on this throughout the year.
We have completed our first block of learning in maths. There is still some confusion between the greater than > and less than < symbols so we will continue to practice this.

Next week we will begin addition and subtraction within 10.
Each morning we check the Reading Record books to see who has read at home. Please try to find the time to read just a couple of pages with your child, it doesn't have to take a long time and they do not need to read the whole book - little and often is the best way to improve.
