Willow Class Weekly Newsletter 30.1.26

This week has been a busy and productive one in class, with the children completing a range of assessments. These have helped us to see just how much progress the children are making. I will be feeding back to the children individually and will also be sharing ideas and next steps with you during Parents’ Evening.

In Writing, the children have been working hard on diary entries, writing from the viewpoint of either Mum, Dad, or Dr Bryce. They showed great focus and creativity, making a real effort to include all the key features of diary writing, such as thoughts, feelings, and events written in role.

In Maths, we have now completed our unit on decimals. The children have shown a strong understanding of the topic and should be very proud of the progress they have made.

In P.E., we continued our netball unit and focused on learning how to pivot correctly. The children demonstrated excellent teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the lessons.
