Well half term is here, I just hope it stops raining for some of it!

This week we have read 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. The children have enjoyed reciting the book off by heart and have written a new version of the poem.

We're going on a fox hunt,

We're going to catch a big one,

What a beautiful day!

We're not scared.

Uh-Uh, rain.

Soaking, wet rain.

We can't go over it,

We can't go under it'

Oh no!

We've got to go through it!

Drizzle, drip,

Drizzle, drip,

Drizzle, drip.

We have consolidated our learning about Place Value to 50. We will continue to count in 10s and 2s. After half term, we will ne measuring length and height.

The children will be bringing home their recycling monsters. Our next task is to create life size abstract sculptures of people. Please collect larger boxes and send them into school by Monday 2nd March.

It was great to see everyone's parent/carer at Parent's Evening. Thank you for taking the time to look at your child's books and to talk about their progress.

Have a fabulous half term, keep reading little and often!
