Willow Weekly Newsletter 13.2.26

This week, I have been extremely proud of the children’s writing. Not only has their presentation improved, but the creativity and ambitious vocabulary choices they are making are wonderful to see. They are showing real confidence in expressing their ideas and taking pride in their work, which has been fantastic.

In Maths, we have been learning about fractions, decimals and percentages. We have been focusing on how to find a percentage of any number by finding 10 percent first and then using this to help us calculate other percentages. The children have worked hard to understand these concepts and are becoming much more confident in their reasoning.

In Design and Technology, we made spring rolls. The children used a range of skills, including preparing ingredients safely and carefully assembling their rolls. Well done to everyone — they went down a treat!
