Chestnut Class 29.11.24

What a week we have had!

We have enjoyed 'You can't take an Elephant on a Bus' by Patricia Cleveland-Peck. The children have imagined their own part of the story and written about where the elephant came from and where he wanted to go.

We have completed our learning about Shape and the children have done some assessments. There will be more phonics, reading, writing and maths assessments over the next couple of weeks.

When building 3D shapes, we used straws for the edges and plasticine for the vertices.

The children have enjoyed their time in their 'Wild Tribe' sessions. Thank you for sending in a change of shoes, it helps to keep the carpets clean and free from mud.

Please make sure everyone keeps reading little and often!

Have a good weekend,

Mrs Dowell, Mrs Armstrong and Mr Jones

Wow – what a year we have had! We are incredibly proud of all of the children and everything they have achieved this year. They have worked so hard, grown in confidence, and shown resilience, kindness
