Beech Weekly News 26.9.25

This week we have been looking at the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. The children loved retelling it, trying to use different voices. We have had different sizes of bowls and spoons in our home corner, mark making with porridge oats, making characters using playdough and washing Goldilocks in the water tray.

Here are some bear masks that we have created:

The children have liked drawing their favourite characters and a present that Goldilocks could give The Three Bears. We also thought about if we had a bowl of overflowing food what we would like - porridge, ice-cream, jelly, and talked about why it is important to wash our hands.

In phonics, we have been looking at 'g', 'o', 'c' and 'k' and the children have been trying hard with their oral blending. One child who has been listening well and trying hard to correctly say each phoneme is our certificate winner, Luna. Well done, Luna!

A reminder that jewellery is not to be worn for PE, so please can you make sure earrings are not worn on Fridays. Thank you.

We hope you have a great weekend.
