Thank you to all who attended parents evening this week, it was lovely to share the children’s progress with you- we apricate your support.
This week in writing, we have been writing a short narrative based on clip called Alma. We have discussed the different features of a short narrative, including parenthesis, cohesive devices and speech. The children all showed a good understanding of this.
In Maths, we have started our unit on fractions, decimals and percentages. This week we have learnt about converting fractions to decimals and fractions to percentages. Please continue to encourage your children to regularly access Mathletics at home.
In History, we have been learning about aspects of Viking life. In groups, we researched specific areas such as, housing, food, clothing, religion and gods. The children then created information leaflets showcasing their knowledge and understanding.
