Willow Weekly News 22.11.24

It sure has become colder this week, we even had snow! Please remember to send children in with coats each day and warm clothes for P.E lessons.

In reading we been comparing character from our book (Ahmet and Brendon) using evidence from the text. We have also discussed how characters have changed as the book develops. In writing, we have been writing Newspapers. This week, the children wrote their own newspapers about refugees (linking to our class text).

A part of our Fractions unit, in maths, we have been multiplying and dividing fractions. The children have shown a great understanding of this, applying it to problem solving and reasoning questions.

In Computing, we have learnt what copyright means, the children were able to discuss different scenarios and explain if they felt these were copyright or not.

Well done to Olivia who received the certificate in celebration assembly this week.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Bliss and Miss Davies
