Beech Class Weekly News 22.5.26

Happy Friday!

We have been looking at the story 'Somebody Swallowed Stanley' which is about a plastic bag that is swept into the sea and swallowed by some of the sea creatures. We talked about looking after our environment and keeping the sea clean. We have also been talking about reusing and recycling and been creating ocean scenes using cardboard and egg boxes that have been brought in from home.

The children have enjoyed singing a 'reduce, reuse, recycle'song in class which we learnt a few weeks a go during our singing assembly.

We have also been exploring wet and dry sand, floating and sinking and sorting materials.

In maths, we have been looking at sharing and grouping and the children have enjoyed continuing their learning during their activity time.

Our certificate winner this week is Hasri. She recently joined our class and has settled in really well.

We have lots of exciting things to look forward to next half term which include our inspire afternoon and trip to Home Farm. We hope you have a great half term and we will see you back on Monday 1st June.
