Wow, what an incredibly busy couple of weeks we've had!
It was absolutely fantastic to see so many of you at the Fun Afternoon last Friday. The children had an amazing time on the inflatables, and they were all so brave! Everyone gave it a try—kudos to you all for being so courageous!
Our trip to the British Ironworks Centre was an absolutely fantastic day out even with all the rain! The children were buzzing with excitement, eagerly counting down the days on our class calendar. We got to see a plethora of sculptures crafted from a variety of materials, perfectly tying into our science lessons this year. Plus, it beautifully reinforced the message from our recent English texts about taking care of our environment by recycling and responsibly disposing of waste to prevent adding more plastic to our oceans.

We've just kicked off our exciting journey into Place Value up to 100! Many children are confidently counting to 100 and can eagerly discuss the tens and ones in a two-digit number. Keep the momentum going by helping your child practice counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s!
We wish you an amazing half term! Keep the reading spirit alive by reading little and often—it's a game-changer for their reading fluency!
