Wow, we are already half way through our Spring term and what a great time we have had!
In English, we have been writing our own short narratives based on clip ‘The Lighthouse’. I am so impressed with the creativity shown in the children’s writing and ability to use the different features we have been learning about.
In Maths, we have been continuing with fractions, decimals and percentages. This week, we have been ordering fractions and finding a percentage of an amount. The growing confidence in Math's, is wonderful to see.
In Art, we have been looking at art work created by Carlos Paez Vilaro. We created Candombe Drums and decorated these, with patterns influence by our artist. Take a look at our creations we think they look (and sound) great!
Well done to Gian who received the certificate in celebration assembly this week.
