Wow, another term completed- it really is flying by!
In English, we have been writing an alternative ending to a narrative- Pig Heart Boy. We put our own ‘twist’ on the authors ending. Our aim, was to use dialogue, a range of openers and ellipses within our writing.
In Maths, we have been busy revising in preparation for our SATs. This week, we revisited fractions, including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
In Design and Technology, we applied our learnt skills from last week (chopping, peeling and grating) to make Spring rolls-these tasted fantastic and the plates were left empty- well done Year 6!

Children will be bringing home revision booklets to support their learning in the lead-up to SATs. These booklets are for ongoing revision, not just over the holidays, and can be used flexibly.
It’s equally important that children enjoy a well-deserved rest and take time to recharge!
Well done to Harrison, who received the certificate in celebration assembly this week.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss and Miss Davies
