We've had a fun and busy week in Year 6! In our writing lessons, the children have written fantastic persuasive letters to Judge Melon from the book Holes, explaining why the living conditions at Camp Green Lake are just not good enough. They made great use of modal verbs and persuasive language – we were really impressed!
In Maths, we've been learning about prime, squared and cube numbers. The class have done a great job getting to grips with these tricky concepts.
In History, we’ve been exploring music through the 20th century. The children chose a specific year to research, and they loved discovering what people were listening to back then.

Thank you to everyone who’s already returned their Parents’ Evening slips – appointments are filling up quickly, so please send yours in soon if you haven’t yet!
Well done to this week’s certificate winner Anya.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Bliss and Mr Jones
