Happy Friday!
We have been looking at the book 'The Colour Monster' and talking about different emotions.
The children have enjoyed saying and doing actions for our words of the week. The words have been: shimmering, sobbing, enraged, time, timid and tranquillity. If you ask your child they should be able to show you them at home.

The children have been drawing their own monster, feeding monsters with poms poms, making monsters using playdough and practising their cutting skills to cut out monsters.
This week the children have enjoyed our phonics sessions and have brought home some sound cards to practise at home. It is great to see that lots of the children are reading at home. If your child talks through the wordless book, practises their sound cards or you share a story please can you record this in their reading record so their books can be changed. Thank you.
Thank you for all the baby photos that have been sent in. If you haven't sent one in yet and would like to, you can bring one in or send via tapestry. Thanks.
We hope you have a great weekend.
