Welcome to Sycamore Class!

The children have all settled in well into Year 4. We have been focusing on working together as a class. The children have enjoyed carrying out jobs around the classroom and have been demonstrating their teamwork skills during our PE lessons.

Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday.

One child who has shown all our school values this week is Lottie. She has worked well as a group and team, helped others and been courageous and kept trying and smiling even if things have been a little tricky.

This week we have been writing instructions to play games in English. In Maths, we have been looking at finding 1, 10, 100 and 1,000 more or less, placing and estimating numbers on a number line and comparing numbers. Today the children enjoyed finding ways to remember ascending and descending to help them order numbers.
