Tough Runner

As you are aware on Friday 2nd May we are holding our Tough Runner Event! Tonight children have been sent home with sponsor forms to try and raise as much money as possible for taking part in this activity for the Friends of Crowmoor.
The event will start at 9.15am and children will take it in turn in classes to take part. Parents and Carers are welcome to attend at this time and watch children take part in the activity. Then at 12pm we will be having a picnic outside which again you are welcome to join us for.
If you would like to join us for the picnic children will be released to adults who are on the authorised collection lists to enjoy the picnic and will need to be returned to school staff at 12.45pm. You must remain on school site with your child at all times and if you need to leave for any reason your child must be handed back to a member of staff.
If you would like to join us for the picnic you must bring your own food as there will not be any food available for anyone attending the picnic but children in school can order their school dinners as normal and bring them outside to enjoy as part of the picnic.
Any children who do not have Parents/Carers who can attend the event will join in and remain with school staff during the picnic outside.
Please return all sponsor forms along with any money raised on Tuesday 6th May. Please ensure your child's sponsor form along with any money is in a sealed envelope.
Children may get wet and muddy when completing this activity and therefore, we advise they wear old PE kits. They can also bring spare clothes to change into after the event if they wish. Please ensure your child also has a water bottle in school on this day and a sun hat and also applies sun cream before school.
Please can we remind you of the following:
No dogs are allowed on the school site.
No vaping or smoking on the school site.
No alcohol
No abusive behaviour will be tolerated. You may be asked to leave the school site if necessary.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Your child will only be able to take part in the event if the waiver via the link below is completed. Without this children are not permitted to take part in the tough runner activity event. This is order to comply with Health and Safety regulations and ensure the safety of all while the event is running. Therefore, please ensure you complete the link below by Wednesday 30th April.
