Welcome back!
This week in our reading sessions we have started to read 'Ramaysa' by Radiya Hafiza.
In our writing sessions, we have been looking at a character description. We looked at an example text and the features of a character description then had a go writing our own. The children really enjoyed starting our Thursday lesson by drawing a picture of a character from the description given. Next Thursday, is World Book Day and children can come into school dressed as their favourite book character.
Our certificate winner this week is Declan. He wrote a great character description using fronted adverbials and expanded noun phrases and made sure he had varied the adjectives he used. Well done, Declan!
Next week, we have our Wild Tribe sessions. Please can children bring in wellington boots or old shoes, watreproof coats and trousers they don't made getting dirty. Thank you.
