We have been advised by Shropshire Council of upcoming Cadent Gas main replacement scheme due to take place on Crowmere Road, Shrewsbury (from outside the Baptist Church up to the junction with Flagwell) between 21/07/25 - 29/08/25.

During the first two weeks of the works there will be a one way closure in force preventing traffic accessing Crowmere Road from the A5112 Crowmere Roundabout. Which will allow operatives working on behalf of Cadent Gas to complete the works near to the roundabout safely.

Whilst the one way closure is in place traffic will be diverted via a signed diversion route and access will be maintained to residential properties at all times.

Once the works have progressed away from the roundabout temporary multiway traffic signals will then be erected for the remainder of the scheme.

Residents and affected businesses will be notified of the works and advance warning signs will be erected on site two weeks prior to the scheme commencing.

School finishes on 18/07/25 however, we felt it would be useful to share this information with our Parents/Carers.
