What a busy week we’ve had!

In English we finished D-Day Dog. We really enjoyed the story and linking it to our writing. We also wrote a newspaper report based on D-Day using the amazing features we’ve been learning.

In Maths we have continued with our Multiplication and Division topic. We enjoyed looking at each one in depth and using BBC Supermovers to support our learning.

In Music we practiced finding the pulse in different musical pieces. We used our glockenspiels to play along with music.

In DT we continued looking at planning and what a design criteria is. We know that our lights need to be suitable for purpose.

In French we continued our new unit by learning various body parts. We then performed Heads, Shoulders, Knee and Toes in French which was very entertaining.

We had great fun in our own clothes for Children in Need on Friday. It was great to see how many Pudsey Shirts there were!

Well done to our certificate winners this week!

We hope you’ve had a good weekend,

Mrs Brunyard, Miss Cluderay and Mrs Savory

Wow – what a year we have had! We are incredibly proud of all of the children and everything they have achieved this year. They have worked so hard, grown in confidence, and shown resilience, kindness
