Hazel - 16.5.25

Good afternoon,

This week we have started our new English unit looking at writing newspaper reports. The children have picked up the features quickly and have used them well so far. In maths we have finished our unit on money and next week we will be revisiting number – any work at home on number bonds to 100 would really help.

In science we explored the human skeleton, looking at the importance of our skeleton as well as some of the larger bones. We also carried out an investigation on the question – Does having a longer femur mean you can jump further?

In PSHE we have continued to look at how to stay safe online by using the acronym SMART (Safe, meeting, accepting, reliable, tell). We discussed how this looks in our lives and what we could do in certain situations.

As always please keep encouraging the children to read at home.

Hope you have a great weekend,

Mr Reynolds
