In English, we enjoyed another story from the series we’ve been exploring. The children made fantastic connections with their History learning, particularly around the important roles women played during the war. For our writing task, we took inspiration from the book and wrote thoughtful letters to one of the characters.

In Maths, we continued to build our skills in addition and subtraction. The children are becoming confident in using what they already know to solve new number problems.

In Design & Technology, the children took on a fun challenge — designing and making pirate lunchboxes! Working in small teams, they collaborated brilliantly to bring their creative designs to life and ensure the lunchboxes were fit for purpose.

Please encourage your child to read and access Mathletics and Spelling Shed.
