This week we have been looking at the story 'The Three Little Pigs'. The children have enjoyed building houses using blocks and cardboard boxes, retelling the story in all areas in our indoor and outdoor environment and creating characters from the story.
The children have been looking at matching objects to their initial sound and looking at letters in their name. This week in our phonics sessions we have been looking at 'ck, 'e', 'u' and 'r'.
In Maths, we have been looking at comparing by size, weight and capacity.
The children tried to find out which container would hold the most.

Our certificate winner this week is Eva. She has been joining in well during our carpet time and trying hard to communicate to her peers and adults. Well done!
A reminder please to make sure coats are brought to school to each day. We like to explore our indoor and outdoor environment and now the weather has become cooler, coats will need to be worn outside. Thank you.
We hope you have a great weekend.
